Well I am 5ft 11in and 278 pounds and it seems to have plenty of pull and them some. me and my wife ride it sometimes she is about 120. so 398 in total here. Alone I get about 92 mph out of mine which is plenty fast. I would not worry about the bike as long as you keep plenty of air in the tires. I fill it with the air for if you are riding with a rider always. Its a bit stiffer but I feel better about it. Also I adjusted the rear shocks to the highest setting. It rides a bit diffrent now but I feel better about hitting large bumps now. I park my bike at my work one the sidewalk most times, but not always. I have never had my bike even messed with. I do lock the front forks if it is on a parking lot just so if kids get on it they cant go far. I love my suzuki savage, but lets face it, most people are looking for diffrent types of bikes to steal. I.E. ones with a better resale or parting out value. If it makes you feel better, go ahead and pick up a front wheel lock. Not very expensive in JC whitney or somewhere like that. Just make sure you take it off before you try to ride. :-). Good luck.
